College Membership
To work as a midwife in Newfoundland and Labrador, you must be registered with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Heath Professionals. Registration information is available on the page entitled Registration.
It is possible to be a member of the College as an honorary associate without being registered in the province or with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals.
In order to become an honorary associate member, you must be a registered midwife in good standing in another Canadian jurisdiction.
Honorary members may participate in the work of the College provided they complete and submit their membership form yearly.
